We first thought about the kind of art we want to use to commemorate the genocide in Srebrenica. Since our goal was to reach as many people as possible with our message, we decided to use street art. The production of stickers seemed to us to be the best way to spread our message and reinforce it with a meaningful drawing. From then on, we collected ideas for concise metaphors and meaningful slogans. We soon realized that we wanted to use the flower of Srebrenica as a central element of our stickers. It will be found in both designs that we have selected and visualized. In addition, the address of the website is indicated on each sticker, so that interested people who have discovered the stickers in their city will have the opportunity to visit our site and learn more about the topic. To spread our message, we will send them to the three organisations in Bosnia, France and Germany, so that they can pass them to each participant. Our idea is, that every participant takes a photo of a sticker stuck on in their hometown and sends it to the organizers. The sticker should be colorful in the foreground and the background black and white. As a result, each participant will see their picture appear on the website that was created for this project. This will be a way to show all the places that the history of Srebrenica travelled.
